Damaged cribwork March 2002.

Repair work April 2003.

The project involved the installation of some 440 pieces of split logs, mostly hickory and tamarack/hackmatack/larch.

Kurt Wentzell and his wife split the logs.

The NS Department of Transportation workers did the installation work. The workers were at the beach over a period of four weeks, but their actual work opportunities were dictated by the tide throughout the duration.

Some of the repaired cribwork is shown below.

The project is complete. A supply of supply logs has been stored for future log replacement.
